Would you rather be looking at an oil fillter sticking out the front of your bike ?
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Re: Silly bellly pan
Don't need no stinkin' belly pan......

Loud pipes don't save lives, knowing how to ride your bike will save your life.
Re: Silly bellly pan
You can show off your chromed k and n filter much better without the little mud scoop.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: Silly bellly pan
The question is though, do you think it's there to stop the possibility of small stones, chippings etc from being thrown up by the front tyre onto the oil filter
Probably not much of a chance of hole being created in the oil filter if you've not using it, as plenty of you (including me at times) don't run with the cowl fitted.
What made me think was after I resprayed mine black and used it on the bike, the centre of it vertically soon became pebble dashed from what was thrown up by the front tyre exposing the silver grey underneath.
Only a thought
Chris.
