Hello all,
On the weekend I purchased a 1999 Honda VTR1000F Firestorm. Bike has a fair number of kms - approx 119,000km (nearly 74,000 miles).
Overall the motor is quiet and bike starts easily. It's winter here now, but where I am (Newcastle NSW) temps rarely fall below 5degC overnight.
This is my 1st "big" bike. I've been a car driver in the past. My first bike was a 1981 Honda CB250 Superhawk. The CB250 nearly weighs in as much as the VTR!
I look forward to chatting with people about mechanical issues etc soon.
