Just filled up a full tank of Sainsburys finest E10 last night, and the bike coughed a few times going home after the fill up. Only had short run back, but it's not looking good.
12000mile, 1997 bike, all standard. Petrol sure smells weird going in

Unless you've been unlucky enough to have put in some shite fule, there is no reason why it would make the bike run shite. Either drain it out & replace or better still ride it till you need to fill up again...
Run it for longer & see if it still happens, even if you top up with half a tank of fresh to see if it helps...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...
I mate of mine on a car forum has filled his car with E10 fuel an noted it runs sluggish and finds he needs to change down more often in places where his car performance was fine on E5 fuel. He also noticed his fuel consumption had dropped.
I didn’t take to much notice at first, but then others who I know committed stating they had noticed the same symptoms.
Personally I haven’t used it in any of my vehicles yet, but I’m not filled with confidence on what I’m reading.
I run E10 in my Toyota Aurion (glorified V6 Camry). BUT the car is designed to handle it. Even says so on the fuel flap. An old bike (like my 99 VTR) isn't designed for it. I'll be running 95 or 98 octane unleaded. (We have E10, 91, 95, 98 at most petrol stations here in Australia. You can get E85 only at selected stations.)
Someone put it together, so I should be able to pull it apart.
