I’ve watched a couple of items on YouTube concerning this and it’s obviously been kicking about for a few years but this seems to be the most probable cause of the demise of sports cars/bikes.
Brought in by an unelected group in Europe, the implications will impact all vehicle manufacturers who want/need to sell in the European Union, so all manufacturers then!
Royal Enfield Meteor 350’s all round then
That will be haptics, juddering through the accelerator and audible warnings. These can be overridden/ignored, even turned off until 2024. The vehicle will reset to its default restricted settings. If you speed then the vehicle will store the details. I know Kawasaki 1000’s have had a recording device fitted since the late 2010’s.
The whole situation, instigated by the f***wits in the EU just gives me the s*its.

Isn't that one of the reasons we left the EU
The problem is we are still following some of the EU's laws,
The EU being such a large market, and the margins on vehicles being tight, will mean few manufacturers would embrace producing different versions for different markets, therefore irrespective of being members of the EU or not we all bend over and drop our strides. Conspiracy theorists will also spot the opportunity for lazy traffic enforcement with every vehicle containing all the evidence required!!!
