what have you done to your "bike" today
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
still amazed at Victors Allen key gear lever hack............ the fact that the cable ties manage to hold it tight enough so it wont rotate is a testament to somebody's dedication to S&M and bondage skills

So...Tools out. Faring off Nue Red...
All the brackets seem straight, the left hand rad has a bit of damage but not leaking.
Few more cracks than first inspection on the fairing. Drill out to stop them creeping more some more holes to use Zip ties to hold togerther.
Pulled some more bits of Wales out.
Changed the left bar as it was easier than trying to wangle the inner weight out as the end bit had snapped off that the screw goes in to...
Changed the gear linkage compleat.
Fitted a indi back on. Late model have little square plugs rather than bullet conectors. Blue on the right & orange on the left...
Which dont cross fit a blue wont fit an orange & vice versa... Only had a rear with an orange plug... that'll do just a bit shorter than a front.
Boxed it back up. Tucked all back in...
Jonsey say's he has an man who is a whizz with plastic repairs & another who is a spray pait wizzard...
Only thing is If I get it repainted it wont match the rest of the panels...Get the whole fairing painted ? or go Chineese cheapo route...?

Wow I wasn't expecting that, although I know you have been thinking about a change for sometime.
I can understand the riding in the rain part. It's different when you are in your twenties, you can somehow seem to put up with it better, goodness knows why
I wish you well in your next chapter of life Mac
Chris.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Worryingly this will lead to a reduction in posts such as ‘name of the day’ ‘oooops I’ve broken myself/my storm’ and an increase in time to come up with more crap jokes! Concerning times indeed!
