Hi
After my bike hit the ground, the clutch lever was bent back. So I bought a matching clutch lever/brake lever combo off ebay.
All fits well, but I'm getting a new clutch master cylinder push rod assembly as the old ones have major wear.
See https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PC-VFR-800- ... 2649428338
My question is this - is there meant to be some sort of o-ring in the grooved part of the push rod? My old one seems to have something there. It could even be part of that rubber boot as shown in the ebay listing photo. I will check again tomorrow.

Someone put it together, so I should be able to pull it apart.

Why that grooved bit then? Does that boot fit into that groove?MacV2 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 5:40 pm No O ring on them...

I am pretty sure the external rubber boot fits into that U groove on the shaft

Yes, I think so. I've just taken the clutch lever off to inspect and that rubber boots seems to fit it.

Re: Clutch lever push rod
Correct, the boot does indeed fit in that groove.
Although that boot is knackered.
