Hey Rob, after studying your work of art again, also zooming in like you do
I was wondering if it was done to get the hose for the remote canister facing in a different direction, that is if the shock has a remote canister of course,
Of course it's finished now, no more tinkering for this baby... Or is it ?fabiostar wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 7:03 pm hawk eyes![]()

actually looking at those last naked pics the list is endless that has been changed since those were taken. rear end, rear wheel ,carbs, stacks, complete front end, and loads of little brackets along with a general tidy up all over.
no no its finishedMacV2 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 7:54 amOf course it's finished now, no more tinkering for this baby... Or is it ?fabiostar wrote: ↑Tue Dec 14, 2021 7:03 pm hawk eyes![]()

You would make a good politician Rob
i cant even remember the first shock i tried but before the hagon i had a Penske which i just never got on with, the spring was right but i could never get it just how i wanted it, im only 10 stone soaking wet and run the first bit of compression travel soft on all my bikes, the Hagon i just threw it in and it felt right for my weight and the fact iv a lot of the weight on the bike tipped forward. not very technicalsirch345 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 3:45 pmYou would make a good politician Rob![]()
On a more series note, I thought with your experience on trick aftermarket shocks, you would be a good person to ask how do you find the Hagon shock![]()
When my Penske shock was away being serviced I put the original OEM shock back in my Storm, but used my Maxton weight related spring instead of the OEM yellow spring. The part I found missing the most was the lack of compression damping, and of course no adjustment to dial in anymore,
Chris.
If it works for you then that is what counts, thanks for your reply Robfabiostar wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 9:01 pmi cant even remember the first shock i tried but before the hagon i had a Penske which i just never got on with, the spring was right but i could never get it just how i wanted it, im only 10 stone soaking wet and run the first bit of compression travel soft on all my bikes, the Hagon i just threw it in and it felt right for my weight and the fact iv a lot of the weight on the bike tipped forward. not very technicalsirch345 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 15, 2021 3:45 pmYou would make a good politician Rob![]()
