Power bronze lower faring

Thanks buddy, Now the pyramid one is really starting to grow on me, now I’ve looked at it a few times online, it’s kind of a half way house between a full lower faring and a moriwaki style belly pan to me. I wasn’t keen at first but I’m really starting to like it now that I’ve seen it on a few bikes online. Can I ask what was the fit like? I’ve just finished fitting a power bronze under tray and it was a pain in the butt lol
I am wondering though if I’ll have any issues with clearance underneath at the rear of the pyramid one as it comes quite far back and until I’ve finished my new custom exhaust system to clear the single side swing arm I can’t be sure how much clearance I’ll have there but I guess I could always trim up the faring a bit if I have to.

A rail runs down both sides of the bottom of the oil pan, two sump bolts on each side to fit rail to pan, then belly pan bolts to captive lugs on the rail.
I have not found ground clearance an issue. But I have a few scraps underneath due to dropping of curbs.
Its reasonably roomy around engine area.
I have altered it a little remove some meat from the belly pan on the gear change side as my size 11 would catch the edge of the belly pan. Very easily done with the Dremel.
The quality of the belly pan is fantastic it still in good shape after 20 years on the bike.

That will be due to it being made in fibreglass IIRC
It looks like a very good colour match in the photo

Ok great thanks for the info, looks good and fits well, sounds good to me though I do prefer abs plastic over fibreglass due to the lighter weight and being more durable so that’s about the only negative for me now. I’ll have to have a good think and make up my mind lol

The Pyramid is fibreglass and chips very easy, Powerbronze is plastic and holds up much better

Yes I do prefer abs plastic over fibreglass but I do prefer the look of the pyramid faring

Thanks guys for the advice! The fact the pyramid is fibreglass puts me off a bit but I like the look of it more than the power bronze one but I like the fact the power bronze one is plastic but I hope it’s not much hassle as the power bronze under tray I just fitted lol! Just finished all the mods to take my new modified exhausts and it’s all mocked up in place but as there titanium and not stainless I’ve got to get a specialist to join them up to the headers.

Fibreglass is heavier, but it's easy to repair if you land a heavy jump or bump it up a kerb.
Also, if you have to have weight, that's exactly where you want it- low down and central front to back.

Yeah I know what you mean but personally I do prefer abs plastic, Though I need to get a new plastic welder there’s plenty of good plastic filler on the market these days so I don’t mind repairing plastic and prefer the durability over fibreglass as from my experience fibreglass is too prone to cracking unless it’s about half an inch thick lol and then it weighs a ton lol, but I do prefer the look of that pyramid faring
