Noticed after a long caning that when I get home,take my lid off and ride it into the back garden that the right side can/exhaust is making an uneven popping and thuting noise that I never notice when out and about....
Can't see any cracks or owt so would soapy water [from cold startup] help locate any issues do you all think.......

Use a bit of thin tubing, such as aquarium tubing. Tape it to a long screwdriver and hold one end to your ear. You can then wave the other end around without burning yourself.
But it'll be the rear downpipe to the collector joint.
