Decibll killers

Post by beenz »

I have carbon can company race pipes on me storm fitted with decibel killers. Does anyone know if removing these baffles will give more power/torque and would i be wise to jet it up a bit to prevent it running lean. I have a standard airbox and filter.

Thanks in advance, Broad bean

Hi Beenz,

I fitted a pair of carbon cans a while ago. I haven't removed the baffles though. It seemed to run OK on standard setup. I've since fitted a dynojet kit and a K&N which feels like its given a noticeable improvement.

dyno + K&N is the way forward dude!

Removing the baffles wont really make a large difference as far as im aware but a dyno run and then a setup will!

Obviously they will sound ten times better!

EDIT- and bring 10 more police sirens your way, lol!
