Hey guys
Been a couple years I think since I last checked in here. Sept 2020 when Iook back after the trip to Wales.
I've been so busy with work and general life, I literally parked up the bike when I got back and haven't touched it since, other than charging the battery.
Sad to say that it's now getting in the way and when I look at it I can't imagine I'll have the time or energy to ride much in the next couple of years at least.
So my question is what are used bike prices like at the mo? Is it even worth selling?
For those of you that don't remember Kermit, it was originally owned and modified by Lloydie. I haven't really done any further mods so the list is still accurate:
Late 52 plate
Around 50k on the clock from memory. This would actually be around 33k as the bike had an engine change after CCT failure.
929 Blade front end with wavy discs, updated fork internals with linear springs and 2006 yokes
Ohlins rear shock
Data tool GPI
Rack and top box
Lightened flywheel
+4' ignition advancer
Cbr600rr Stick coils
Custom green spray paint in Triumph Roulette green
Manual CCTs and updated R/R
Braided lines
And the best bit for me is it has flat bars, so it's much more comfortable than standard. I did a couple of weekends away on this (Wales & Scotland) and smashed out over 1,000 miles without too many aches at all.
As I say I haven't touched or moved it for nearly 2 years. I'll need to do a service with oil, filters etc, drain fuel and refill.
Been a long time
Re: Been a long time
It's a good bike.
As yet, prices haven't started to pick up, you might do better to wait another month or two.
A long MOT and decent tyres would help with the sale price.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Yes probably Fabio, the green one
No idea on the price really. I paid £1800 for it. Would hope for maybe £1500 to £1800 I guess, but then again, anything is better than it just sitting there in my garage taking up space for another 2 years.

Like Tony said leave it a month or two and should sell easy. Kermit was a well sorted bike and should sell for what you are asking
