Bafflectomy success

I love how my bike sounds now.
Got the baffle out, going to remove all pipes inside the cans :D

Still too heavy, though.
It's worth getting something lighter simply for the handling improvement, but I also found the original cans gave me vibration through the foot pegs.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Regarding vibrating footpegs.
Could this be fixed by cutting of the mounting holes of the pipe next to the footpegs?

They do sound very nice when done . Just a shame about the tonnage .

It's the weight of the original cans that can see the problem, you could try removing the brackets to see if it fixes the problem.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I'm not sure if that would help, as they are both rubber mounted at the footrest mounting points with the OEM standard footrests and at the pillion footrest hangers, rubber mounted there too.
My aftermarket cans (albeit high level cans) are mounted at the footrest mounting points as well like the OEM standard cans are, however the can's do seem jump about when accelerating hard (especially the left one) according to my brother when he has been following me. This makes me think the extra vibration I feel through the footrests with the OEM cans are more to do with them being so much more rigid than the high level Scorpions I have are, only a thought :wink:
