Home now with 700 miles for the trip, but I did go up to rahayder on the Thursday night to see cheeky kev and then from their down to Devon.
We had great weather, great roads, great company (except we didn’t have Popkat

) and a good laugh.
Thanks Mac for doing the organising.
Oh and I might have overdone the right wrist usage on the KTM by Saturday lunch time ….. I couldn’t apply more that 20% power before it made a horrible noise and I lost drive.
The internet assured me it would be my fuel pump filter blocked and not feeding the engine, but I kept describing the symptoms ans “its like the chain is jumping on the front sprocket”. I had checked the chain tension and the rear sprocket in detail, and I stick my fingers in the little gap in front of the swing arm and could feel all the teeth on the front sprocket, so I kind of thought that wasn’t the issue.
After 2 and 1/2 more days riding as gently as I could, I took the front sprocket cover off and found this.
Oops the shame
