Stripped the TDR250 swinging arm out repacked the linkage, sprayed swinging arm and fitted Hel rear hose, just waiting for new chain and sprockets to arrive. ImageImage

Back at the cave dropped the oil leaving it to drain out, fresh oil & filter, on the morrow.

I'll kick the tyres, check the chain & might even show it some polish in the morning...
Careful Mac, you'll be giving Tony ideas

Nue Red final pre Wales prep.

Fresh oil & filter.

Cleaned, lube & adjusted the chain, cleaned off the lube overspray...

Filled up the Scott oiler.

Checked the tyre pressures.

Gave it a wipe over with a polish spray product.

Put some zip ties in the tank bag along with some sun cream.

Attached the Rok Straps ready for the roll bag to strapped on later today.

Meeting Jones @ Clackets in the morning & meeting Pete L @ Aust @ lunchtime ish.

Look out Wales here we come...

Packed up most of the bodywork to go back to the painter on Monday. wombles well pissed off.

I should have properly looked at it when I picked it up yesterday but I was in a rush and you just trust people will do a good job. So when I pulled it all out of the car and unwrapped it from the dust sheets, a wonky strip down the centre of the tank and bits of the old red colour showing down the leading edge of both side fairings was not what I expected.

On the plus side he seems to be a pretty decent bloke so I'm not expecting a big argument. It's just wombles annoying when it's been so long I could have done it myself and not made those mistakes. Would have cost a little less too.

I can imagine your frustration Nick and disappointment, that is one thing that really annoys me more than most, someone who can't arsed to do a good job, after all that is what you pay for surely, not half a job.

I hope you get it sorted out ASAP,

Chris.

Rode Nue Red home from Wales. Had a great weekend 200 mile ride out on Saturday. Glorious weather Fri & Sat bit of a wash out on the way home today.

MOT done.

Bike now on the road, albeit in need of sone serious tuning. Just touched the speed limit ‘ahem’ on way back from test centre…, I can already see it’s going to be lots of fun!!

Cheers all.
