I had a guy come round to do a waterless wash/paint protection treatment on 2 of my bikes this week. Took him 3.5 hours to do both bikes. Very impressed with results. Benelli was very clean before so didn't take long, the Kawasaki I can say is now as clean as when I bought it 9 years ago. Method he used is spray liberally with cleaning spray ( don't know what product it is) using many microfibre cloths (thrown away after use) and one of those pet dryer blowers blows and rubs muck away and repeats as many times as necessary. I've now ordered a blower and cloths just need to find out which is best cleaner to use. Kawasaki is clean in areas I never bothered to do as access difficult but blower helps to clean those bits.
