I got this great looking front headstand paddock stand, but the adaptors it came with are all too small largest is 18mm.
You can get bigger adaptors, but I need to know what size and I can't get to the bike now.
So does anyone know off the top of their head the internal diameter of the steerer tube?

Thanks so much. That's exactly the same stand as mine.
I have cbr400rr and Honda ft500s knocking about the place and they all seem to be way bigger than the "standard" 19mm or less that the stand came with.
In the meantime I got my 14 year old to do it, she did exactly that, tried sockets until one fit without much play.
Then she measured the OD of the socket with my very-near calliper.
Its 24mm ID according to her, but now that I can bodge with a socket I'll do that tonight and measure myself and order the correct one later.

Ok I got in there with the verniers last night, it is 24mm so the 17 socket works fantastic.
They have the correct sized pin for 8£ on backorder at sportsbikeshop.

At least you got there in the end, and your 14 year old was spot on
The only thing I could think of which may have made the 17mm socket the wrong size was how thick the wall of the socket is from different manufactures
