New member in Northants

Post by lazybones51 »

Hello

Just picked up a Firestorm last week after looking at several for sale (what a minefield buying a used bike is!). It's a 2003 bike in original unmodified condition (other than a dark screen), in what I believe is called "Candy Tahitian Blue".

I'm a big fan of traditional forum communities, so really pleased to find this place and its treasure trove of information!

I've been riding for 20 years and owned all sorts over the years however this is my first V-Twin, so I can't wait to get some miles in!

Facebook groups have been responsible for the demise of many good forums, which is such a shame as they're usually pretty terrible in comparison.

Welcome to the forum. Excellent choice of bike in exactly the correct colour. With such exquisite taste you’ll be pleased to know you are entitled to free drinks at the forum bar and keys to the executive bathroom. Please don’t tell those with the cheaper, nastier hues! You know - Red, yellow, black or god forbid green! 😉😂😂😂😂😂😂

Welcome, I too have only been on here a week.

And to be frank and honest it's bloody marvelous.

There is so much info that's helpful it's really made me enjoy my bike more.

I came on here from a search looking for oil cooler pipes and boom MacV2 to the rescue. I've just fitted them today. They are mint.

Hope you find everything your looking for
