I can't see a reason why not...

Out of interest which FB page are you talking about ? I follow 2 & one is far better than the other as it's properly moderated.

If you do start one it wont be long before it's full of all the normal crap on FB...

You'll spend all your free time vetting all the requests to join & weeding out all the scammers.
