Vfr clipons

Hi I got my hands o the 2000 vfr clipons do I cut something off these and does all the stuff from the storm go back on these the grips switches bar ends . The fairing I'm not sure if it needs cutting I'll find out when I start fiddling around. A video of someone doing this would be the biz. Can that metal the vfr clips are made from be polished on just painted.thanks

I've not done the VFR bar conversion myself so can't really advise you on your questions. although if they are alloy (non-magnetic) which I think they are then you can polish them.

I have had a look to see if there are any links to help you, but the links I came across the photo's are no longer there as they as years old.

However when you come to fit them you'll see how it goes, and you'll see if the bar-end weights will fit or not,

He's very close on his right side I'd be afraid I'd get snagged up on a turn with that

I have done the VFR bars before but it was a long time ago, i seem to remember i had to cut a little locating spigot of them as the vtr yoke is slightly different, it was many years ago, what i do remember tho was it transformed the bike

by the way does the conversion really make a differance on your wrists, thats what gets me that and old age.

yes it makes a big difference to the old wrists
