Great racing.
It so often goes down to the last race of the year.
I wonder whether it's worth going to any of the earlier rounds.
But then, using that logic, there's not much point going for the full day, just the last race!
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Was a good weekends racing for the big boys...

The last race was an epic fight, the last corner wobble, for Tommy, flat out was mega...Could he have out dragged Kyle to the line without it ?

Meanwhile over in Spain next weekend last round for the WSBK crew... Look like a given for Topcat...
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

What a weekend!
I caught up with the racing last night so I wouldn't see or hear any spoilers.
I don't think the results really matter. The racing was some of the best I've seen all year. Even the practice sessions were exciting. Glen Irvines Ducati bursting its oil cooler and bringing his brother down who was closely following him was spectacular and scared the whatsits out of me!

well that was a great 3 days of racing :D

I was marshalling at Clark corner which is just before the start finish straight, and being up close to the bikes as they came through clearway, then clark was just jaw dropping..... rear wheel slides past us then pumping & weaving onto the start finish line.

Friday was dry and sunny but we still had some bikes to collect out of the f**king deep gravel (and we have to drag them up hill as well!)
Saturday was all action as the rain, although light, was on and off and the track was cold, so as soon as it got damp any of the bikes slicks would come flying at us.
then at the end of the day was the first Sidecar race, and even though they were on wets we ended up having to drag 2 outfits through the impossible gravel trap to get them out of they way of the next crash. we had to have 2 goes at moving it as there is only a small time window before they are on us again for the next lap, so we have to leg it behind the crash barriers till they pass then out again to move it further.

Sunday was dry but colder, but we managed the whole day without an incident at our corner, so we had nothing to disturb our trackside race spectating.

Despite the Marshall team having an invite to the OMG hospitality tent on Sunday night, I had to get home, so I probably missed a great party and swapped it for the slow exit from Brands with all the other Raceday fans before joining the crawl round the bottom of the M25.

Well done Al, I Marshalled at clear ways a couple of times and the gravel is deep and quite a struggle to drag bikes out of. I can’t imagine how difficult it would be with the sidecars. I tried to look out for you but couldn’t see you. Fair play to you and the rest of the Orange Army It was brilliant racing, probably the best I’ve seen at Brands

Thanks Al, yes he really enjoyed it although he was a bit tired by the time he got back to Salisbury. It was great chatting with him and the racing was brilliant
