NW200 2025

Post by tony.mon »

Just booked ferry crossings and motorhome parkup for the NW200.

Out in the 1st May and return on the 13th, so we'll have a couple of days either end of the races to wander about a bit.

I booked Maddybenny's farm, on the course. Couldn't resist! RIP, Benny.

Anyone else going? I won't have a bike with me, sadly.

I'm giving the TT a miss this year, so I could well be going.
I've just got to sort a few things out before I can be sure.
If I go I'll probably go in the van.

No doubt during the week i will call by and see whoever comes over, i do be up and down during race week a few times. during the practice days/evening you really should go have a look at them going round station corner, pretty much flat in top gear even on the superbikes :eek2 :eek2
the older i get,the faster i was

So that's all the bookings made, we ferry over on the 1st May and return on the 13th.
We're staying overnight at the following:
Courtlough
Carlingford
Cookstown
Muff
Malin Head
Maddybenny (NW200 circuit) 6th to 10th
Carrickfergus
Then Johnnie Fox's tourist trap pub near Dun Laoghaire for our last night.

Mostly parking the motorhome behind pubs for free- they seem happy, as long as we eat and drink there.

Anyone I know is welcome to meet up if you're nearby.
I won't have a bike with me, though :(
Should be a craic! Alka Seltzer and paracetamol is on standby...
