Thanks again for lots of good info. I just haven't been here to read it as I ordered the parts soon after my last message.
I got the CCTs that were mentioned https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166992479917 but another PAIR delete kit as the one "for peanuts" wasn't shipping to Sweden.

Doing the job was no problem. Biggest hurdle was a full 19 liter tank with a fuel tap that can't be shut off but it worked out in the end. (What were they thinking when they changed from the petcock that was on the 16 liter tank)
No problems at all with the inspection covers either which unscrewed quite easily.

Now all that remains is to put everything together (life got in the way for a few weeks) and to start it up and hopefully it won't be rattling too much.
I've only run it on the starter motor so far and that didn't reveal any strange noises. It worries me a bit how to get to adjusting the front CCT (if needed) when the bike is back together as there is a coolant hose in front of it.

One thing though... Flipping the reed valves over. I didn't and I couldn't see how it could be done. The have three round corners and one square-ish so they can't be put in the wrong way. So I left them the way they were.

Cheers,
Anders

You can get enough access for the front CCT adjustment by pushing the coolant hose out of the way.
It'll get hot, so perhaps tie it up with bungees while you're adjusting.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
