When advice is needed, where not to go....

Post by BigVeeGrin »

 It's been a while since I last pootled down these roads. Weirdly it feels good to be back  :? however......

I'm moving soon, haven't ridden in a fair (bloody long) while, primarily due to family illness, death and a fabulously gubbed knee, and am wondering what to do with a rare example of the best colour Storm ever. I don't really want to sell the bike so it may move with me and stay wrapped up...

Aside from saying not a lot here, when considering my options all you lovely lot invaded my head so I thought I'd just pop in to say 'hi' :Beer1: - so many familiar names still and seemingly not in need of zimmers! Hope everyone is thriving in their various ways.

And, if I do decide to sell then first dibs will be someone here

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Righto - I've decided to sell. I'll put it in the For Sale section when I get pics over the next day or so, briefly...

...it's had the usual treatment (CCT/RR a Mick titanium cover thing) over the years - appearing at Grainstorm and a couple of workshop days (under the capable supervision of certain respected members!) - and last had a major Lloydie service, greasing/bearings/carbs and so on when I bought it up to Glasgow in 2018. Since then it's only done c500 miles (due to me unable to ride it), engine has been run perodically. It's been SORNed for the past 18 months or so!

Most important it's the best colour ever.
