Hi,
I made a stupid mistake when removing the sprocket cover without tying the lever to the handlebar, or removing it.
Anyone know the best way to get the cover back on?
I first thought of opening the bleeder nipple and then use the cover bolts to force the cover back on, but I'm not sure if that would force the slave cylinder back in, or if the cover could break.
Any help highly appreciated, as spring is getting on here in the south of Sweden;)

Sprocket cover back on?
Re: Sprocket cover back on?
Depends how far out the slave cylinder has pushed out...
If it's that far out its stopping the cover going back on flush, then it needs to be pushed back in.
You might want to crack open the bleed nipple, with a bit of pipe, gently push it back in, with the bleed open there shouldn't be much pressure so should go back in easy.
However expect a lack of clutch pressure a re bleed will probably be needed.

Thanks!
It came back on easy with the bleeding screw open.
Didn't even have to bleed the system;)
Cheers!
