Ouch!
Sorry to hear about your friend Tony. Deepest condolences.
I totally agree. None of us are getting any younger. Make the most of today and worry about tomorrow when (if) it comes.

Sorry to hear that Tony, things like this make you realise life’s to short to hesitate, live life to the full.

Sorry to hear about your mate Tony. It’s so easy to lose sight of how limited our time really is, unfortunately!

I refitted my serviced Penske shock, then taxed the bike for April. I got out for the first ride of the year last week, even though it was extremely windy I had to get out as the sun was beckoning :D :D
All well with the serviced shock 8) 8)

I was also getting used to new Oxford Tracker motorcycle boots, the gear lever height needed adjusting as new boots are taller at the gear change pad. So I adjusted it when back home last week, then road tested it again today. I took two 10mm spanners with me this time and adjusted it once more while on my ride (I did stop to do that just in case anyone thought different   ). It still needed just a little bit more adjustment I felt, but I waited until I got back home.

A good job I did as I spotted a crack in the alloy gear change rod end:

New one ordered and on it's way shortly🤞🤞

It could be worth any of you still with a Firestorm to check your's, rather than have it fail when you are out riding the bike,

Chris.

Today I Went to the Kickback Custom show in Malvern as it’s only 30miles from my house….some cool bikes and cars there. I didn’t take many photos, but these few were outstanding.

This Norton rotary engined special was jaw dropping, it was designed to mimic the old Comet aircraft, and I would have it in my front room as art.

Then there was this Laverda Jota engined bike…. The shape of the tank and seat. Wow

And although there were a few Katanas there, this one caught my eye because the the Suzuki under the bodywork was all 30years to young

Some work went into those...
The Jota engined one is reminiscent of the Craig Vetter styled Triumph Hurricane triple.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
