If I was out in the dark with our first Doberman he'd always seemed to find a hedgehog and try to squash it in his mouth, goodness nows how he managed that, the hardest part was trying to get him to let it go

I don't think he actually hurt it, as they roll up in a ball once they sense danger

but he sure did have a good go
