Yeah, don't hold your breath. However, I do think that the Storm (and SV) could benefit from closer association with the rest of the model range. Yes I know us V-twinners like to be a bit different, but the rest of the world needs a little more coercion to buy a twin.
I always felt that if the SV had been given all the Gixxer hardware, paintjobs etc and branded as a 'GSX-V' it could have sold more. Mind you, with all the extra shiney bits (and another 15 bhp) maybe it would end up in another price bracket - although it could also benefit from economies of scale by using other bike bits.
So - anyone for a CBR-V 1000 ? (Or is that the SP?)

Have you noticed when you're riding that everyone going slower than you is an idiot and everyone going faster than you is a maniac?

i must have looked at those pics 100 times since i've seen them.
WOW

I hope to god that Honda release a new 'storm that looks like that with a 1200 engine. if they dont i'll probably be more upset than when they killed Lassie.

Sorry chaps, I don't like it. Its looks are too much like the other bikes in Honda's range, and half the Jap manufacture's bikes for that matter.
I am getting really very bored with the underseat exhaust systems now. So many bikes have them. Ducati with their 916, and MV, got it right (same designer). At least Suzuki have gone their own way with the exhausts on their GSXR range.

it's 100% fake.
PhotoShop job of a 2005 Blade mixed with a bit of frame, motor and fairing off a black storm. Look near the tank/frame spar. I found the exact blade shot that was used by searching on google.
Besides, why go to all that trouble and keep the same design near the rads?
Personally I like the style, but then again, it's been done already right?
If they do a new storm, they should do a 125bhp naked version.

Nah
I dont think that the storm should be naked.
A half fairing suits it as there's a particular niche of people who want big bikes capable of touring and also with a bit of kick ass in them.
The VFR is an amazing bike but i dont think im old enuff to have one yet
I think the styling in the fake pic is spot on. A nice comfy seat would have to be mandatory though.

Naked bikes will have to put up big fight now. According to news from Suzuki press conference yesterday in Paris 1300 B-King is in production and will be available to buy in 2007. I sat on that concept bike 3 years ago (and was thrown out from Suzuki stand for that - I did not know that I can not sit on B-King because it is concept) and it looked pretty ready to go production even back then. I still think it is ugly, but it is scary, hyperpowerfull, well made, trendy and - with Busa engine - nothing will beat that...
At least that makes me hope that 6-cyl Suzuki Stratosphere will make it to shops too in few years.
Can't wait for October 9 when Honda will reveal new models...fate of my mortgage might depend on it
