LED Running light?

Post by Tempest »

That small "running light" above the main headlight.

Does anyone do an ULTRA BRIGHT LED replacement unit that fits in there rather than a weedy little bulb?

Yeah, well the Yamaha TDM (as I have as well as my Storm) has a near identical running light.

Some time ago, a bloke was making Ultra Bright white LED units to replace the standard rotten yellow dim bulb we all have as standard.

I think he dissapeared somewhere, but it was not rocket science.

What he was doing was getting people to send him their TDM unit, he then fitted a circuit board packed full of LED's and put sealant around the back of it to waterproof it, and sent it back.

Unfortunatly he dissapeared, but there were some pics and it was WAY BRIGHT.

I'll investigate and report back :)
