may be it is famous bolivian "road of death", but it looks too good quality to be it.
It also looks similar to small mountain pass through canyon near Entrevaux in Cot d Azur, but anyway - I rode lots of roads like that one in France, and there is nothing wrong or scary about them, just keep your speed to your skill level and never overtake in blind corners without checking them by looking from "previous" curves.
You may notice that road on photo does have raised "shoulder", it is just you can miss it if not checking details of photo.
If you want really scary road check this out - it is actually 1 lane with no shoulders, on soft ground that slides away downhill in pouring bolivian rains.

Officially deadliest road on earth, unless I just got it wrong (may be) it is not the road on first photo.
