WANTED: Decent (Cheap!) tire place in Manchester area
bit late i know, but only just joined.
can't help you with a place in the Manchester area but FWR are worth a look, have had tyres off them in the past, good service and they claim to be "britain's cheapest tyres"

is this because your treads going as thin as my hairline or is this because of the screw you had stick in your diablo(or however yuo spell it) a little while back?
If it's cus of the puncture I would highly recomend "Ultra seal". It costs a little more than some of the others but it really does the job and I can personally guarantee it up to 173mph. Tee Hee

Hi Pete (You nutter!)
Not due to the screw in the tyre - although I got that one repaired, I still had to buy a new one for my day at Brands. The tire man said it was well dodgy running a repaired tyre on track because of the extra heat. Oh well sh1t happens and all that.
Anyway, needed the new tire for the Blackbird as it was getting well low.
