Oxford Boss alarm disc lock is worth a look at too........£59.99 at the minute and comes with a free chain too.....shackle type u lock(thacham approved) that can be used on the disc itself or with the chain.

I got one and am quite happy with it.....VeetyR (john'o)

Ive got the oxford monster alarm/disc lock, and ive not had any problems with the batterys since i brought it about 9 months ago..

And i must say im very impressed with lock itself, seems to be built very well.

As for the xena alarm, I have only tested it in the shops (thats right, im the one who moves it off the counter in the shop and sets it off. Then goes bright red when everyone looks at me   ). Does seem very loud, but not built as well as the oxford..IMO..
