bike only running on front cylinder

Hi everyone, need some help, I have just put my storm back on the road after laying it up for winter. when i took it out it was very slugish and has next to nopower except for intermidiate bursts. when i got home the front exhaust was red hot but the rear only warm. ihave drained the carb float chambers but has made no differance. I dont know if this is electrical or a fuel prob or what to do next, any ideas guys

Sounds like the rear cylinder is firing intermitantly,check the rear plug and plug lead to make sure you are getting a constant spark.

Had another thought.Run some carb cleaner through the system for a while,the jet could just be clogged up.
