As Kingster has already said it is possible to recover deleted photo's from a memory card, as I did it for my brother. I used 'Photorec' which is a free piece of software I found from a google search. The main thing NOT to do is take any more pic's on that memory card, or else you will re-write over the photo's you wish to recover, then you won't be able to recover them.
