Hi,
I'm heading over to France on the bike this weekend and was thinking that it may be wise to get some breakdown cover. MCE quoted me £94 to extend my breakdown cover to the EU for 12 months... is this good?
Are there any other companies anyone would recommend for EU breakdown cover?
Thanks

Do you need 12 months cover?
I've taken 10 day cover out with this lot http://www.breakdowndirect.co.uk/. If I break down I'll let you know if their crap or not.

Rich.

NCI seem good and bike friendly, I'll be going with them...

in the long term getting insured with carol nash is the answer, i pay £156 for my storm and get european home recovery.
Used it 2 years ago and a subby turns up and takes you home no questions asked.
4 times a year max but you would have to be unlucky to need it more than that.

No, I don't ened 12 month cover so I've gone for a one trip policy from these guys. I'll make sure EU breakdown cover is included in my next insurance policy as that seems the cheapest way to do it.cupasoop wrote:Do you need 12 months cover?
