Filled up twice today. Once Texaco, once Shell. Helmet on over tank etc. No hassle so far in the S. East!!!

With genuine mileage etc (due to a speedo healer) it is doing an average of 37 mpg.

Never been asked to take lid off but once at asda after filling a monster asked if it was Â£45 on number three mate

Its you lot you all must look well dodgy! Never had a prob filling up or going around the local supermarket. Even filling the hoody wearing asbo scoot I've never been asked to remove my helmet. Is this another north/south divide thing?? Never really got that myself, you've got kent and essex then the rest of the country.....!!

Sainsbury and tesco in Romford Essex were the ones i had grief with
