how do i take the chain off cams? please help

hi too cct off and that little cover at top but its still well tight carnt even pull little bit off the teeth and ideas welcome, asap bike is out all stripped at the minute!!! ohh and the timing is 180 degrees out after a garrage said timing is spot on and its the ecu fault causing miss fire, how sh1t are they

Same happened to me when garage did the head and put the timing 180 degrees out.
I put it right myself, I took the cam bearing caps off and just tilted one of the cam shafts. It's a pain to re-align but worked ok for me.
Don't drop the cam chain into the crankcase :)

and thats exactly wot i did !!!!!! tho i now got a dodgy cam noise
Allways in the sh1t !! , its just the depth that varies ;o)

i've read on here somewhere (cant find the thread right now, your have to traul a cct search) that using a coat-hanger or similar object to hook the chain up while the cam slides out. this makes the job easier and works as a fail-safe to stop you loosing the chain inside the engine!

Do a search on CCT's here and you will find a wealth of information!
