Nobody bothers with Halloween here.
Generally comes & goes without anyone even realising.

I have always thought about waiting upstairs in the front bedroom with the garden hose, then just as they get to the front door give them a good blast

Never heard of bonfire night. Lots don't bother with Valentine's (it's just a day to make blokes suffer isn't it? I seem to recall my ex-husband bought me a pair of work-boots...)

As for Easter & Christmas, if you don't believe it, don't celebrate it. If you want to use it as an excuse to get together, I'm sure The Big Guy wouldn't mind. Whatever tickles your tangerine.

my front door got egg and flour chucked all over it by some teenagers last night......I watched from the window until they stopped at another house up the road.

I then filled my washing up bowl with warm water( well i didnt want them to freeze, the poor little mites

) and promptly jogged up behind them hiding by the cars and jumped out "TRICK OR TREAT"

Well u can guess what happened next when they turned around , they got tricked!!

And i got verbal abuse as i walked off feeling rather smug.

cant wait till next year TBH hehehehe
