I have MotoGP 07 and Rainbow 6 Vegas but cant find any information on LIVE compatability. Supposedly, Microsoft set it up so that you can play online cross platform on PC and XBOX.

There's a Windows LIVE Gold package that should allow this, and I wouldn't mind having an XBOX gamertag I can use through my PC (especially now Call Of Duty 4 is out) but besides not wanting to shell out for an XBOX I wont use or a premium LIVE membership that wont work.

Anybody know their stuff about LIVE and how it all works?

I get the impression that only Halo 2 and Shadowrun are cross platform (which sucks) when it should be easy to play any game thats out on both formats.

*edit* found some more stuff. Its a load of guff. I'll stick to free online PC servers and MMO's thanks.

if u aint got call of duty 4 yet peeps.....buy on sight...i am hooked. Action packed shoot em up. Very movie like in its realism too.
