heard of this quite a few times now...been put down as metal fatigue, bmw are looking to correct this issue, luckily no one has been killed yet, still id have a shaftie beemer :wink:

that is a seperate issue timbo....this failure is due to metal fatigue in the shaft drive housing, but yep they have also had loose wheel nut problems 8O
