I recently bought a bike mount for my Garmin Quest from Ram mount USA. Thought it was a bargain at £23. Then I found out the postage was $39 from Fedex (robbing bast##ds) now I get a bill from Fedex for VAT fair enough Should be £4 but no charged me VAT on postage estimated at £39
despite they knew it's $39. Said the sender did not state the postage cost on envelope therefore we charge from th HMRC list for the weight. Total £11.64 vat + admin £6.80. So total cost of a £23 bracket = £61
Ripped off and pi##ed off. Wonder what sort of bill i will get for the £65 Oregon headcam. Can't remember if they wrote £5 postage on the front bl@@dy hope so.
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left.
