Flooring finished

Holiday let update.

Well that's the Oak flooring in the bedroom/bathroom/dining room and living room finished, ya hoo .
That only leaves the door posts, doors, facings, skirtings, kitchen tops and a lick of paint and varnish, until I go for the completion certificate .
Then put it in the hands of the letting agents and go out for a blast on the bike .

when everything is up and running and I claw back some of the initail outlay , vat and a few lets, I don't see any problem in some of the "more sensible firestormers" calling by. If you have no objection in sharing a king size bed that is.

driveway could probably accommodate at least 50 storms, security provided by a Mr Winchester!! and Mrs Collie dog. When I do the cobbles/lockblock on the parking area I was planning to put in a few ground anchors.

Sirc, you bet I will be glad to see it finished, I started in Sept 2006, 16 long hard months. The only things i did not tackle myself were the central heating and the electrical works, the latter for obvious reasons.

And you are all welcome to breakfast at Bob's on the way to Rosshsire!! Seeing as I live half way to the highlands a lot of my brother-in-law's friends (he's from t'Bolton) on their bikes pop in here for scran and tea before heading off oop north!
Some even stayed and enjoyed the local hostelry last year.
