Now have 2 cars and 2 bikes and live by myself and work from home

Mind you, my old Mondeo has 163,000 on the clock, still going strong and worth a lot to me as a workhorse.
I've seen it about. I couldn't stop laughing!I bet they did, Prince of Wales road is like a tunnel. I once followed a Peugeot 106 down there with 6, count them!! 6 exhaust pipes out the back, fairly sure 5 werenot connected to anything but i bet it went really fast
I was worrying a bit having run it from cold on two short city trips - 16 mpg! After I sorted it all out with the four carb wise (yes, carbs!) I got it up to a best of 12mpg.
Bet this is better than that!!
Obviously the company you worked for Chris (LSM) as an apprentice were paying you FAR FAR FAR too much in wagesLotusSevenMan wrote:Know very little about them now but had an XJ12 5.3l many years ago as an apprentice and it nearly broke me. Always a lot of motor for the money. Enjoy that lovely luxury car.
Sure it wasn't guineas in those days?I remember trying to insure a Scimitar many years ago when I was in my early 20's. The car 2nd hand was for sale at £300. Best insurance quote I could get was £400 for third party fire and theft only They wouldn't give me a quote for fully comp.
