Hi all does anyone know if 1997 fireblade forks fit straight onto a 1998 firestorm? and if they don't what modifications have to be made

no...u also need the blade yolks...diff clip ons( mine has spondon)...you will need to get some new spindle spacers made, if you want to fit the storm calipers, then some new caliper brackets made...mudguard wont fit...mine has a truimph 995 one fitted looks the dogs, once done tho..hope that helps

Cheers i think im gonna go for some wp progressive springs and fresh fork oil and try that first.
Lot of work getting the blade forks in

Drop straight in, even use the same bearings etc
Genuinely reckon that with the fairing off its an hour job and the difference is night and day
