Congrats if that's your 'thing'. 8)

Me? I pay for my kit unlike the race boys on TV so don't wanna wear it out; 'replaceable' sliders or not!!!!

To be honest now that I have the technique it's pretty easy and doesn't require any more lean angle than I already had when I was riding 'safely'!!!!!

Had a much better touchdown on the way home this evening and it went down so easily. Thanks to the MCN guide on YouTube I now feel much more confident in my cornering ability and am much smoother as a result.

Knee down is mostly bravado and has no real need on public roads but knowing your limits and improving technique is never a bad thing.

That's the point of hanging off though, you actually lean the bike less!

As is doing a wheely. You can see over the tops of the cars so much more safely.

baldrocks to safety. Getting your knee down isn't dangerous neither is pulling a wheelie. Do it in the right place and its safe as anything.

I got a little touch down on a roundabout by my house once - and I try it every time the situation is right. It hasn't been for about six months but I'm in no hurry. There's always a car joining in front of me to slow me down or my tires aren't warm enough or most of the time I don't have my suit on with sliders.

But When I sort my forks out and get the dollars for a trackday this year it will happen!!

sh1t or bust

Congrats. Will watch that vid later

I used the same vid problem is I have no sliders so I have to pick my knee up and end up grinding away my new belly pan 8O

Enjoy mate its a great feeling.
