British SuperBike racing on Sunday 11th

Post by LotusSevenMan »

British SuperBikes from Brands Hatch on Eurosport 2 today from 1pm.
Repeated on Channel 4 on Thursday early am I think!

Yes, I'll be there as my tickets hold good for the rerun of the snowed off meeting in April.
Well Brands is only 12 miles away!!!!!!!

Fantastic racing it was too ! (seen from the comfort of my armchair I'm afraid)

Incredible to think what the weather was like just 5 weeks ago.
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

Spent all the time at Druids Bend. Great racing. Looking forward to seeing it on the VHS if I set it right!
Then I can see the bits you miss on circuit.
Much better weather than five weeks ago and an MV Augusta piloted by Chris Burns won the first race in the privateers cup (but had an electrical fault in the second race only allowing it to rev to 9,000rpm).
First BSB points ever for an MV. :D

Last time I was at Druids was about a month ago watching my nephew-in-law(?) race his car. I nearly went dizzy, as I could turn and watch them all the way up from PHB, round Druids and down, as there weren't many people there to get in the way. You are so close there its great.

TV man's comment on the MV Augusta was that it's basically a stock bike - not sure what tweeks were done but pretty amazing performance. And it did look fantastic.
