when i worked for EON we was told we couldnt have any toy pigs on our desk as it might offend......

and this bullshit flying the flag of your country is classed as racism...
yet people not with UK heritage can fly the flag of their family... as long as its not an english flag while in england....

gonna stop there cause the beer is flowing and this subject is one that riles the hell outa me.

i have beer!!!

and BNP membership card

used it as id a couple of weeks back when an arrogant none english speaking juggler wanted me to provide some id!!!!

I wear the AGV bulldog lid which is covered by the union flag(jack) and has a bulldog on either side and i do not consider myself to be racist in the slightest i am just intollerant of most foreign nationals

I have to admit I hate racism and I try to treated people by how I find them on not the colour of there skin or there religion I also think that if you expect protection by that law then you need to abide by that law so any one shouting racism as a means to get there own way should be arrested as a racist
If the English flag is to be band then all national flags have to be band in this country what is enforced for one has to be enforced for all
This is just my 2 pence worth on the subject

Maybe i would if i was using the bike outwith the country it's registered in ,ie think ewan n charlie

,otherwise i dont see the point really puttin a scotland flag on it if its never oot of scotland(not often anyway),or english flag if its never oot of england,etc

i get really wound up by sh1t like this!!!

if a young kid wants to have a flag in his window let him!!!

if poles, Asians, Muslims, etc want to settle and contribute to our society and work/ conform as we do then that is also fine!!

my real beef is with the people who turn up illegally, and demand rights to houses and money when we have people sleeping on the streets!!

we have thousands of them in jail and in holding pens!! costing me and you in taxes that could be spent else where!!

Oh I think we've got enough home grown assholes to worry about! (Football violence anyone? Health and safety freaks?)

As to that poor kid he should have refused and took it to court - but of course he's in the most discriminated part of the community and was probably intimidated by the plod man.

I mean he's a white, middle/working class, hot hatch driving, young whippersnapper. He obviously deserved what he got. How dare he display the flag of his own country IN that country in his OWN vehicle. (check out rally cars!)

If anyone tried to stop a manx person doing that they'd be pulling the third leg out of their assholes in no time.

The only regrettable thing is that the england flag does happen to look exactly the same as the knights templar flag - who ravaged the middle east for hundreds of years. Kinda like bavaria using the swastika for their national flag. But it was a LONG time ago.

i would report the officer to his/her superiors claiming that the officer is raciest,as you were doing nothing wrong and displaying a flag of this country the police have a lot of explaining.the driver could also and i would report this to the local mp and the national papers
