Insurance ncb

Has any one had to track down a previous insurance company for there NCD?

just had my renewal notice and when I had a look Iâ€™ve only got 4 years on there so I rang to ask how come and was told that when I came to them I only had one years NCD I have to admit I havenâ€™t checked each year to see if the NCD was right just took it was as the premiums were falling

I had to change to another company half way though one policy because of a change of use

Any way did a search for the insurance company Iâ€™d started out with no luck so I canâ€™t get in touch with them to see if they can furnish the right NCD from when I was with them Westinghouse insurance brokers canâ€™t remember the address or anything now its 5-6 years ago

So it looks like Iâ€™ve lost one year when I was with them and one when I had to change policy

If any 1 has managed to track down a company for this reason any pointers would be helpful

sorry cant help m8, my ncb is maxed out..Â£61 full comp year..wont get cheaper they reckon

Seeing as all insurance companies share their infomation on a common database it shouldn't be too difficult for them to check your record themselves. They would soon do it if you were making a claim.

Well tried it but it seems the companyâ€™s no longer trading and the info that Carole Nash has was taken of the renewal notice Iâ€™d sent in
Looks like im buggerd for the missing year as Iâ€™ve no proof

Oh I do no about that , Timbo In suspenders riding around on a green kwaker . Should brighten up any ones day .
