Scotland.. posh hotels .. bargain prices, check this out

Post by bikerpiker »

I know some of you guys come up here occasionally, got this website from couple at work who's been to one of the hotels.(loch tummel)

Ideally situated for Fort William,Glencoe,Oban, etc.

My mate said both the hotel he visited, and the food was fantastic, :!: Free admission to National Trust properties as well it says,..ok if your into castles etc :!:
Prices are for 2 people, ie ,per room. (self drive).
I paid more than that for a caravan for a week

Yep,
great value i think, considering you get full breakfast and 3 course meal,oh, and national trust admission :!:
Hotels are only between 1 and 2 hours from here,i do know of a few of them, between bike runs and going fishing,Loch Lomond and the hotel at Loch Awe.
Gonna try it sometime :!: Saved to favourites :!:

The railway carriage in the pic at the waters edge (loch awe) is actually a restuarant :!:

Thought that was the place .....

Used to pass that hotel 3-4 times a year when I dived the Sound of Mull a lot!
Ain't been to Oban in a year or 2

Beats sleeping in a hard, sloping bunk in the bowels of an old converted fishing boat anyday! But then, what doesn't?

I caught my first fish in Loch Awe.

Is it just me or do all these hotels look like the one in the Shining?
