RIP Dave Gorham, OzFireStorm

Post by VTRgirl »

Tragically taken from his wife of 18 years & their young children yesterday morning after sustaining serious head injuries in a fall the afternoon before.

Dave was a frequent poster & very popular member of OzFireStorm. He was organising a big meet for the end of August, now his memorial ride.

Dave's wife, Cheryl, buried her father less than a week ago & her mother is slowly recovering from a recent stroke.

Please hold this family & your Storming siblings in your thoughts & prayers as you take it a bit easier over the coming weeks.

Thanks folks
Cecily

RIP Dave, fellow Stormer :(

Thoughts with you, his family and the Oz forum members me duck.

Not the kind of thing you want to happen anytime, but especially not when you've just got your lisence back! (Congrats BTW)

Thanks to all.

Dave's family are very conscious of his connection to OzFireStorm & have included us in their mourning process. It's been an ordeal for everyone & a lot of us will be riding up to a thousand kms this coming Thursday to come together for the funeral. Fingers crossed for a safe journey for all.

I'll send a link to this thread so the family can read the kind thoughts coming from so far away.
