Thanks from Jamie's Mum (VeeTeeArr_HRC)

Post by Firemonkey »

I had the privilege of meeting Jamie's Mum at his funeral that was held this morning in Burnley.

I passed on the donations that I had received from the incredibly generous members of this forum.

I emphasised that most of the donations were from members that had never met Jamie but felt that he was a friend and fellow biker and wanted to help the family at this very difficult time.

Jamie's Mum was incredibly moved and asked me to thank all of you for your support.

Jamie's was buried in a lovely spot near a tree in the cemetary and the beautiful sunshine helped to lift spirits. He was buried with a patch from the MTHeads MCC confirming him as a member of the club as he had intended to join before the accident.

I'm sure you will join me when I pray that he rests in peace and also for the continued recovery of his wife Jenny and for the future of his two young children.

You will be missed dude

Chris

I have just spoken to Jamie's Mum, Christine, and have an update for everyone.

Jenny is out of hospital and home and although it may be some time before she can walk, she is expected to make a full recovery.

From the kind donations that were received, half of the money has gone to Jenny, with the other half being split between the two kids. Christine was truly overwhelmed at the kindness and generosity of everybody on here.

She asked me for the website details as she said she would like to come on here to see the condolences that people have left.
